Great location? Loved the chic bohemian bar and lounge area. The front desk was very helpful. The bunk beds were so fun. Both adults and kids loved them. The rooms are small but that adds to the charm. Enjoyed the bathroom set up.

After I stayed there before prior to a conference purposely to map out the conference distance and other locales and to help promote the place, unfortunately, a guy at the front desk the night of checking in after the 1st day of the conference stated I couldn’t stay because I was too close. I don’t live in the city. I verified with the 3rd party rep and yet I was able to stay before without a problem. I think there should be a new state bill into law for special circumstances and situations. Eventually, someone would want to check out a new hotel in an area not too far away from them for leisure, business or otherwise. Hospitality rules in Illinois should seriously be reviewed.

Very Dusty...

Room was in need of a deep clean.. Surfaces were super dusty including the carpet, paneling, side tables etc. Paint was chipping off the walls and ceilings. The hotel has character but the rooms need to be cleaned up and better maintained. Room advertising is also misleading. Queen vs. Premium Queen are the same room types, but just different floor levels. Photos of the rooms are definitely more polished than their true state.

The staff here was all super friendly and laid-back, they were quick to try and answer questions for me. Loved their vibe. Check in was super easy and quick, but staff could be a little bit more thorough when describing & answering questions about the parking situation. The bar area was cute although I didn’t have drinks while there, and I loved the Photo Booth in the lobby and assume most girls on a girl’s night out also would. The area the hotel is in is busy and vibrant; if you’re looking for a chill environment this is not the place to stay. The room is probably the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and could have been cleaned better- I saw some spiderwebs by the lamp on the wall. Bathroom is cute but small as well. The bed was surprisingly more comfortable than I assumed it would be. Room got super dark at night which I didn’t love but it did have a full length mirror. Didn’t love that I could see straight into another room’s window from my window and that they could see into mine but that obviously depends on what room you get. The walls are also pretty thin, and I could hear people coming and going and the shower and toilet flushing from the room next to mine. Overall for a one-night stay and a pretty reasonable price, it wasn’t bad and I would potentially stay there again and check out the bar area, which got busy at night, but if you’re looking for luxury then this definitely isn’t the hotel for that.

An interesting place... great staff, but kind of stale smelling and old in it's care. Good for someone who won't be in their room much and just needs a quick place to stay. Food is also not so great around the immediate area, youll have to travel a bit for something good from what I noticed
