Lousy shuttle service

Missed our connection in Chicago due to bad weather and had to spend the night. We specifically chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle service. We waited for over an hour and shuttle never showed up. It took several phone calls to get through to someone at the hotel. They promised the shuttle would come in 5 minutes. After 20 minutes we wound up taking an expensive taxi.

When we checked in, after walking into lobby from getting off the shuttle, the front desk associate did not inform us that we needed a shuttle voucher to ride the shuttle the next morning. During checkout at the front desk we were asked if we had a shuttle voucher, we stated “No…no one told us we needed one when we checked in.” The response from the associate was, “I didn’t check you in.” This is poor customer service.

This reservation was cancelled 30 minutes after it was booked because of an airline change of plans. The hotel refused to cancel the reservation and continued to email em for 4 days. I never checked in. I never stayed. I received more than 6 emails from them including to review my stay, which is ridiculous since I never checked in.

Hotel parking was very bad. There’s limited space except in a dark parking lot in a sketchy area. And there is a fee for parking there. No hot water last night or this morning for a shower.
