Nice Hotel

It was a nice experience. The hotel lobby was quite inviting. I did a pre-check in so I was able to drop off my bag then went about our day until the room was ready. There were two gentleman at the front desk for check in and they were very friendly and helpful. Given it was St. Paddy's weekend, I could only imagine how crazy it was but they were friendly and nice. I spent some time in the lobby area because it was so warm and inviting. The room/bathroom was clean and spacious.

This hotel was in a great location within the loop near the Chicago river and the art institute and Magnificent Mile. The restaurant at the hotel is also wonderful for breakfast and for dinner.

We had never stayed at the L7. It was a nice surprise. Nice, clean, staff were nice and helpful, and the most important part- super dog friendly. The location is great for shows, restaurants, park… There seem to be a lot of homeless and drug users wandering around the hotel area - I guess that’s Chicago these days.
