Peaceful Nature

The living/sleeping area and bathroom were adorable. Nice big shower and tub. The grounds are beautiful and it is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with not much traffic or hassle. It was fun to sit outside in the lush green back yard watching the squirrels run around. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I really enjoyed my stay. It was nice to have it after a lot of Chicagoland traffic and hustle!

We were looking for a place in the northern suburbs near Deerfield, Highland Park and Northbrook and this place fit the bill. The unit was spacious, private and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing!! The bed was super comfortable and the jet tub was out of this world!! It was very clean and quiet. The host was very accomodating and had great communication. My husband and stayed overnight because he had an army function to attend. This was perfects! to attend.

Gorgeous and peaceful stay

My fiance and I stayed a night here and it was a lovely stay! The architecture is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful and natural, and the amenities were very comfortable. We'll certainly be back again!

Lovely space

The space is generous and relaxing. We loved the mature trees, privacy, black squirrel, frogs,…The only drawback for us was the kitchen amenities - specifically a lack of any sink, other than the bathroom sink, to clean dishes. As well, we brought our own coffee (important in our mornings) but the only pot available was a Keurig with pods. No coffee shop nearby. Otherwise it was perfectly lovely.

The location was private

I want to be fair in my review and say that the description of the property was accurate. It is what I would call a mother in law suite attached to a home with private access. Directions for arrival and access to the suite were clear and accurate. However, the suite was not clean. The mirrors were quite dirty, my slippers were covered in hair and fuzz from the unvaccumed rugs, and the caulk in the shower was covered in mold. The dishes that were provided had residue on them, which we washed with hand soap because there was no dish soap or a sponge provided. I am always careful to read reviews, and several people had commented on the cleanliness of the unit. Perhaps it has been a while since they had guests, or maybe the reviews were outdated. Regardless, while I am sure in it’s day this was a beautiful space, it is now very outdated and would benefit from a deep clean and a re-caulking of the very moldy shower. I would not stay here again.
