Would love to recommend but can't!!!!

The hotel itself in in a great location and the general areas are clean and the staff are friendly however that's all the positive things I can say. My room was right next to the lift shafts so the noise was constant and loud, Evan on complaining I received nothing not Evan a sorry. I had paid extra for a lake view which was lovely but that was all ruined by the noise. Ontop of that the room didn't have any tea or coffee facilities and it took 3days for them to sort. So as a solo traveler I felt pushed to one side and forggoten about. Evan after returning home and complaining in an email they are just pushing me under the rug and ignoring me. Customer service at its worst. For the price I paid it was not acceptable and I wouldn't recommend it

Dirty hotel

The room look dirty the bed covered look like they were used and never washed. You walk in it looks amazing you go to your room it look terrible I ask for a king room paid for it and they gave me a two twin beds instead.

This was my first time visiting Chicago and I absolutely loved it. The Wade is one of the best hotels I’ve been to and at a very good price. It’s walkable to everything and that was a plus for me. Even using an uber nothing was too far from the hotel. The staff at the desk and bar were excellent and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

The wade was a very good hotel until the music from the 33rd floor was booming until after midnight. I was on the 32nd floor right below the hall. I called and they asked if I wanted to switch rooms but who wants to pack up an entire room at 10:30pm to move. I think they need to inform guests that are below the hall of these events before they put them in the room or don’t put guests in the rooms when you have an event scheduled. Other than that the hotel is very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful I will stay again just on a lower floor.

I love the wade it’s a beautiful experience I just love the atmosphere I had a lake view on the 19th floor and the hotel blessed me with a 50 gift card to use for my birthday and the staff were amazing
