Vacation

Wonderful house. Great Amenities and the Views are spectacular. Host was pleasant and responsive. Had a wonderful time in Chiemsee. Paddleboarded on the lake, Golfed at the the course and ate at and wonderful restaurant just up the street. Loved our time their. Great House and Host!

Lakeside paradise

We spent a week in the property as a family. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the guy showing us around on arrival to the house itself. Clean, well equipped and with the most amazing views over the lake. Would definitely return and recommend.

Perfect getaway for lovers of outdoor activities

Short and sweet - the property was perfectly catered to our needs. The house itself provides all comforts one could expect with comfortable living, large bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and plenty of privacy. The available SUPs make staying at the lake (literally across the road) a perfect starting point for an active holiday. The host is very helpful with suggestions and in answering questions. Within walking distance plenty of shops (bakery, supermarket, petrol station) activities (beach, bike rentals, ferry, mini-golf) and restaurants. The Chiemsee area itself has more than enough to offer for water sports but also city trips (Munich and Salzburg), biking and hiking all in all exactly what we were hoping for!

Fabulous lakeside location

I cannot rate this property highly enough. An incredibly comfortable house directly opposite Chiemsee Lake which was perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. There are also cafes and bars within close walking distance. In addition to the local attractions of the lake, mountains and islands, it is conveniently situated for visiting Munich and Salzburg, and within ease reach of the Eagles Nest. It was amazing to be able to wake, stroll across the road and have a morning swim before breakfast. Also a highlight was watching the glorious sunsets whilst drinking beer in the local bar. One of our best family holidays ever. We spent an enjoyable week with our two teenage children.

Comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped

Our family stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas, and we could have easily stayed 2 more! Very comfortable house with lots of space and enough bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked and made meals easy. The friendly village is a short walk away with everything you may need and there are plenty of places to stop for a beer along the lake (even in the winter!). The views out of the front window were spectacular, especially the sunsets over the German Alps. The owners and local manager were very accommodating, even supplying us with Christmas decorations and special requests. Toys were available for the kids and lots of recreation equipment is on hand for summer activities. Easy access and very close to the mountains, Salzburg, Munich airport (1hr30 drive). Lake/beach is literally out front. Great vacation!!

Ferienhaus - A very Special Place

This house was perfect for our family needs. Set on three floors, you can find privacy on the garden level, with a nice shower and sauna room and a little patio outside; get together for meals or TV while watching the sun go down in the living area on the ground floor; or choose from the lovely bedrooms on the upper floor. The kitchen is well-equipped and elsewhere everything you might need is supplied; the property was spotlessly clean. The town of Chieming is a short walk away, either via the lake path or by the road. The house is very close to the ferry pier, and to bike hire, and a couple of good restaurants. The bakery has delicious temptations, and there is a large supermarket. You can take the bus to Prien on the other side of the lake, a beautiful ride during which you can also see a few other small towns. Cycling is wondrous as there are marked - flat! - circuits through fields and woods. If instead you walk up the hill from the house, the guest house up there has very tasty Bavarian food, plus the walk past it is very pleasant, and you can cycle along that too. I thoroughly recommend this house as a perfect place to stay, in a beautiful and scenic location.

Wir haben uns in diesem Ferienhaus vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet – es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Besonders die Küche hat uns begeistert, da sie so gut ausgestattet ist, dass man fast wie zuhause kochen kann.Das ganze Haus war blitzsauber und gepflegt, und der Blick auf den Chiemsee ist einfach ein Traum – da beginnt der Urlaub schon beim Frühstück. Die Straße vor dem Haus hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, nachts ist es herrlich ruhig und man schläft wunderbar.Auch die Lage ist ideal: die Infrastruktur rundherum ist hervorragend, man erreicht alles bequem und schnell. Die Übergabe bei An- und Abreise lief völlig unkompliziert, und der Verwalter war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit hier und würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr schön fast direkt am See, nur eine Strasse trennt es davon. Naturgemäß kann es wegen der Strasse etwas lauter werden, wenn viel Verkehr ist. Die Fenster sind allerdings so gut, dass Geräusche zu 100% draussen lassen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit einer außergewöhnlichen Ausstattung für ein Ferienhaus (bspw. mit kompletter Golf-Ausrüstung, SUP u.v.m.). Insbesondere die Küche hat alles was man braucht und viel Porzellan. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönes Haus, direkt am See. Die Straße wird leider recht viel befahren. Mit dem Verkehr sollte man zurecht kommen. Alles sauber und gemütlich.

Traumurlaub am Chiemsee

Das Haus ist wunderschön am Ortseingang Chieming mit direktem Blick auf den See gelegen. See sowie Badestrand sind mit ein paar Schritten erreichbar, was unglaublich praktisch ist. Das Haus ist schön und passend eingerichtet (Landhaus). Ganz toll, dass unglaublich viel im Hausstand vorhanden ist (Zubehör sowie Gewürze, Waschmittel, Reiniger, etc.) und man eigentlich nichts mitbringen muss (was wir getan hatten…). Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und wurden vom Verwalter sowie Vermieter bestens betreut /empfangen/informiert.
