This villa was a nice stay for my husband and I. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to make lunch or breakfast and a coffee maker. The best thing was having a completely private pool and supplied beach chairs, floats, beach towels and a cooler. The ceilings are high, so it felt open and the doors in the den and bedroom open directly to the pool. The only issues we had were there was very limited hot water in the master bedroom shower, but we used the adjacent bedroom shower. The adjacent bedroom has a completely separate entrance. We couldn’t get the counter top oven or the convection oven/microwave to cook a ham completely, so we tried the grill, but the gas tank was empty so that didn’t work either. The night we arrived after a long wait at the airport, we couldn’t get the only TV in the den, WiFi. or lights in the bedroom to work. The next morning after an hour or so of riding around finding service to send emails and make calls a nice maintenance man came to help, but by then the property manager had returned our call and guided us to a bedroom light switch that fixed all the issues. It has a sign on it “do not turn off” not sure if we did that or previous renters. This villa is perfect if you want a peaceful, quiet stay and don’t mind driving. I would suggest writing down all the contact numbers before you arrive. The groundskeepers were there daily cleaning,pruning and maintenance.Parking was tight, but we made it work. No stairs!!

The property is great. Great ocean view from the outdoor space which is very private. Kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. If we return to St. Croix we would definitely consider staying here again.

St croix mountain n beach

The place was amazing. In ground pool was Perrfect. Kitchen has everything could need, showers were amazing as well. Second bedroom air has hard time keeping up but it's in sun all day. Views from place are breathtaking.

This is our 2nd stay at Villa Madaline. You have all the privacy and all the beautiful views. The private pool is our favorite feature. Along with the quiet! Dave is an amazing host and quickly responds to all communication.

Beautiful Honeymoon

Such a beautiful property! Wonderful views, safe location, and amazing amenities. The pool was so much fun and my husband and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of a well-stocked kitchen, bathroom, AND towels/beach things. We were gifted some treats as well which was a sweet touch.

Sanctuary 2.0 is a beautiful condo. Very well kept! It's equipped with everything you need to enjoy the pool, and the nearby beaches! This was our 2nd trip to St Croix. We stayed at villa last year in a different condo. We chose this one because it's fully air conditioned! We definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent return visit to the Villas

My wife and I were married on the Island in 2013. This was our third stay in Villa Madeline, fourth in St Croix. We stayed in this unit in 2020 and were happy to see it available again. We love the peace and quiet of the island's East End, but knowing we're a short ride away from excellent restaurants and shops. The house is in great shape. There were some very minor issues, but they did not affect our stay. We alerted the management company, and I am sure they will promptly take care of them. We only reached out to them once and heard back quickly. Even though it's just the two of us, we enjoy the two-bedroom layout, mainly for the second shower and bathroom. The privacy of the pool is paramount for us. We are not resort people and loved having the pool to ourselves. It was clean and is serviced regularly. Even though there were units all around, there wasn't a lot of noise—no loud music, talking, or TV after 9 or 10. The furniture was comfortable, the beds were easy to sleep in, and the kitchen was in great shape, with everything you'd need for your stay. Make sure to stop at Ziggy's on your way to the villa to stock up on some fundamentals, such as milk, cereal, water, suntan lotion, and ice cream. Try Savants in town for truly excellent food in a casual setting. The Lazy Lobster was my favorite! If you like big resorts, this isn't for you. If you're after some quiet alone time and don't mind a bit of driving, book it now!

A wonderful condo and beautiful view. We had 10 days and loved the area and nearby beaches. The hike to Jack Bay and the Grapetree Resort were favorites. There are a few condo instructions lacking but David was quick to respond. Just a wonderful vacation on beautiful St Croix!

Magical Honeymoon

The villa is perfect! Beautiful sunrises, great pool area, kitchen was stocked, beautiful bedroom. We had the best time. Everyone was very nice & super helpful; great communication. The location was excellent; close to Ollie’s for breakfast, Duggan’s for dinner, Ziggy’s & Castaways for some food & nightlife, plus minutes to Point Udall! We will so be back!

Simply amazing!

This was not our first trip to this beautiful island and we were blessed to stay at this gorgeous villa for 3.5 weeks. The Villa met all of our needs and then some. There was a minor issue with the AC in the guest room but it was taken care of swiftly (summers are no joke in STX) and without issue. We also lost water due to a power outage, but the property manager was on top of it and was ready to send a team to fix it at almost midnight but he was able to walk us through how to re-start it the water pump. The accommodations were amazing, the view was outstanding, and the private pool was divine! Villa Madeline gets 5 stars and we would definitely stay here again. One side note—you are in a dead zone for cell service but the internet was superb as my hubs was working part of the trip. Highly recommend.

Great place but not two kings

Lovely home in gorgeous scenic setting. Great bedroom layouts for separation. Do note that the ad states two king beds, however this was not the case. I am not sure of the second bed was a queen or maybe even just a double. One other challenge was with checkout, there were no instructions so we just sort of winged it, piling up towels, taking out trash and hoping for the best. On the flip side, nice to not have a long list of things since you are paying the cleaning fee. Overall lovely spot, and nice to have beach chairs included, just plan accordingly re the beds.

Our stay at Sanctuary 2.0 was everything we wanted it to be. The Villa was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Christiansted and the boardwalk was a short drive away and the atmosphere there was welcoming, laid back, and full of local culture. We will definitely be back!

Great place...great, safe location.

Great place to stay. It is in a gated, safe area. Parking was easy. Very close to the casino, restaurants, etc. Only complaint is there is only one small area in the corner of the pool area where our cell phones could barely pick up 3g. Wouldn't have been a problem but WIFI wasn't working for the entire 5 days we were on island...but we understand fully about "island time" and getting someone to service that. If you are doing a work/vacay it might be wise to check that WIFI is working.

Personal Pool and Beaches Galore

Beautiful spot, good layout for two couples, well supplied, good location for easy drive to island hiking trails and beaches. Guides for tv, internet reset, water system, trash, etc. would have been helpful. Luckily, friendly neighbor was quite helpful. No cell tower in reach, which is okay if internet service is reliable. We had 3 days of internet service out of 10. Owner finally worked to correct but still out when we left.
