We ended up driving home that night instead of staying. There were spiders in the room. One walking along the headboard. A few on the ceiling. One in the bathroom sink and another in the tub (all alive). We knew we wouldn’t be able to sleep there. Also we were under the impression that the room had a kitchenette because of the photo on Expedia but it did not. The employee at the front desk said there was another room with a kitchenette available and asked her manager if we could switch but the manager would not allow it… so we left.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The ac worked well which in 35C temps is a mandatory! Super close to Christina Lake beach, there’s also a fabulous restaurant that’s a 1 min walk across the parking lot from the hotel. Front staff were both incredibly friendly. Only issue was the sound from other guests - we were in the separate building and it had a connecting door with another room. The people in the other room were constantly closing and slamming doors such that the room pressure changes would make the connecting door in our room rattle and bang. Had to shim the door to stop all the rattling, but didn’t drown out the door slamming. Regardless, great location and area as a whole - we would def come back!

back door on the room was jammed and we didn't realize it could even be opened until it was almost time to check out. The paint job on that door and frame was atrocious, which didn't really detract from the quality of the stay. Price was reasonable. Loved the access to the BBQ, world class shower head

It’s close to the park where you can enjoy the lake. What I liked most is the staff. They addressed my concerns promptly pertaining to their water heater. I would stay with them whenever I’m back in the area.
