Family owned beautiful waterfront home with a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and large living areas. 5 acres to explore with a beautiful river view. The house is located back in off of a gravel drive. There are a few neighbors around the property but you will rarely, if ever see them. Some of the things this property has to offer.

We had a great time. Check in was easy and the kitchen was beautiful- but could have had more untensils- only about 6 knives and we had 13 people. Also there were no oven mitts. Also - it said there were towels and we didn’t have enough regular towels so we had to use the swimming towels to bathe and there weee Jo wash clothes.

Solid home/property with some disappointing details

The home was nice - great to fit our group of 12, good room for sitting and dining and sleeping, and a nice open layout with the kitchen opening up to the living room. The host also was quite communicative. Overall, this was a good stay.Cons:The biggest offense lacking was that there were no real kitchen knives (one utensil mostly resembled a knife) which made preparing a meal for 12 quite difficult. There also was not shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in the bathrooms.The hot tub also failed to get hot (which could have our fault for not turning it on early enough?) but there was also a warning about the water rotation being 66 days overdue; the TV screen was cracked which distorted color on the screen; and at least 1 of the dining chairs was broken.

Unfortunate incident escalated by property owners inability to reasonably resolve it

We recently stayed at Hosts house with three families, including children and older adults. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues that affected our comfort and overall stay.The house was cold upon arrival, with temperatures ranging from 65F on the first floor to 50F or colder on the second floor. Upon reporting these issues to the host, they were unable to address it on thrus due to thanksgiving, and in good faith we agreed to continue to stay as they said it would be fixed the next day. Given how cold it was we had to compromise on sleeping arrangements, bringing mattresses from the second floor to the first floor to keep warm. The following day, my husband spent 2 hours with two separate technicians to help fix the heating issue as we were keen on fixing the issue to celebrate the rest of our holiday.When we left the house, we did so under the agreement that the host would refund our payment due to the unresolved issues. However, the host recanted and began to dispute the refund. It took countless hours of VRBO customer support team along with potential legal action from us to recover 50% of payment in 1.5 week.Throughout this process, the host demonstrated a lack of good faith, denying the existence of the issues and claiming that the heater was fixed. Recommendation: We hope that VRBO will take note of this review and consider taking action to address the host's behavior and ensure that guests are protected from similar experiences.

A place I would love to living.

A lovely clean house in a peaceful beautiful location. My two oldest grandchildren (10&12) enjoyed the separate bedrooms and pool, the four year old found the cabinets of toys and was so happy that he didn’t need to unpack the ones he bought Thank you for your hospitality.
