This place needs A LOT of upgrading. My first impression was that the place is dirty and in need of a complete overhaul. My room was on the second floor and I had to carry bags up stairs as there is no elevator. The outdoor pool had no water in it ( in the summer time ) even though it is advertised. The shower had no hot water , though the bathroom sink did. When I told the gentleman at the front desk he didn’t seem to care. The room was okay though the furniture was run down, but the beds were comfortable enough to sleep in. Room service never arrived ( I was there 2 nights ) so used towels weren’t swapped out or beds made. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned up after the previous guest checked out. ” Breakfast included” was bagels, muffins, toast, waffles, Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes cereal, apples, and orange drink. ( wasn’t juice ). I should have known better based on the price ( you get what you pay for ) and should have read the reviews. Reviews by guests who stayed there earlier in the week had noted the same issues.

Told at check in after a full day no pool and was down. Where we gonna find a room for same night when exhausted. Booked this due to having pool and room was dirty and had holes in comforter and blanket and bathroom floor nasty. Dead bird in entry way all morning long and staff sat right outside of door smoking. Breakfast area not cleaned and not large enough area/equipment for waffles. Had to wait a long time to get to the one maker. Also kids were ding n ditching rooms and running down halls. Dirty mirrors, fridge was nasty and had leftover food in it from previous guest and check in counter nasty too. Lamp in room off quilter. Just a dump!

Nothing like the pictures. Dirty paint on the floors mold in the bathrooms, bathroom door didn’t close too big for the frame and the air conditioner so gross looks like it’s never been cleaned. A pool what pool an empty paint chipped concrete hole. This place looks like an abandoned hotel they put some paint on and re opened!

The hotel is clearing in the midst of a rmodel. The pool was under construction and some of the paint used in the bathroom was clearly not for bathrooms (i.e. the bathtub). The bathroom has a motion sensor light that kept turning off while using shower/bathtub. Its rough to shower when in the middle of washing your hair the light keeps turning itself off and you have to open shower curtain or stand up to turn the light back on Breakfast was sparse with waffle maker, bread, milk, and a juice that looked like it came from a mix. The guys at the desk were friendly and things seemed clean, but the hotel itself is definitely a work in progress. It worked for a short budget friendly stop while traveling, but I was glad to only be there one night.

The best thing about the place was the front lobby. Rest was a complete dump. It looked like it was not updated in 30 or 40 years. The room smelled awful. There were kids running in the hallways all night long. The milk was rotten at breakfast. There was really very little to like about the place except the price.

No water in the pool, no notice on site that the pool is not available. The staff was rude on the site. When I asked for extra towels it was a battle. The maid would not give me another towel until I gave her every towel I had in the room. Manager did not offer an apology for the pool. The hotel seems extremely worn down and not kept up

Let's just put it this way with dealing with Expedia and the hotel and everything else that happened to me that day my husband was supposed to propose and ended up not everything that could have gone wrong did I finally got through to a manager at Expedia she was very rude hateful and judgmental as if to say I was too broke to afford the luxuries in life anyway so after that we went home we did not even stay the whole night

This place sucked.

The room we got was in horrible shape… ceramic tile on the floor was sharp with no transition to hide it. The bed was uncomfortable. Countertop was cracked and being held up by 2X4’s toilet paper holder coming out the wall, bathroom door was coming off. Bathroom light switch was broken. A/C unit was installed with bricks holding it up… I would never book another Days inn again…

Disappoonting stay

The property is run down, pool had green water and nasty...not setup, everything looked unkempt, ice machines, floors dirty in stairwells, no elevator, no tissues in room, toilet only flushes small amount of water and have to wait for water to refill before using again, air conditioner very old, lobby looked liked they were trying to remodel, but shoddy looking work, and overall just not a good place to feel comfortable. Cheap but would not stay again.

Our room had garbage left in the garbage Can . the bed was not made? There was no elevator there was no hot water to take a shower. And the noise from the highway. You heard every truck and car drove by.

We booked this hotel as it was affordable and a 15-min drive from Newport on the Levee. All the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Lobby area is large and open. Room was clean and comfortable, and the first hotel I've stayed in that offered Dove soap products instead of the usual cheap stuff that leaves your hands feeling weird afterwards. Something to note though is that there is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, you'll want to request a room on the main floor. Overall, zero complaints and we will definitely stay here again!
