Great hotel for a stop over in Carrasco

My stay at the Hotel Montevideo was exceptional from start to finish. As a member of Leading Hotels of the World, the hotel truly lives up to its reputation for sophisticated elegance and impeccable attention to detail. The room, furnished by RH.com, was a masterpiece of design and comfort. The tasteful decor, high-quality furniture, and luxurious bedding created a serene and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that every element was carefully selected to provide a premium experience. A major highlight for me was the fitness center. It's truly a cut above the rest, featuring top-of-the-line equipment from NOHRD and WaterRower. This isn't your average hotel gym; it's a beautifully designed, functional space that makes a workout feel like a treat rather than a chore. The staff was consistently professional, warm, and attentive. Their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. The Hotel Montevideo is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience in refined luxury. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an upscale, stylish, and comfortable retreat.

Problems with elevators making it dificult.

This hotel is fantastic! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many options. We especially enjoyed the staff who were kind and accommodating!

There no better way to wake up in Montevideo and see the water of Rio de la Plata. This is the view you can enjoy at NH Colombia. And that is what makes this hotel my favorite one in Montevideo so far. There is a lot more to like about that place. The service is outstanding, the breakfast great and the gym on the top floor offers a beautiful view of the city. The hotel shows its age a bit but this did not bother me at all.

Todo estuvo de acuerdo a lo que uno espera de un Hotel de esta categoría. Tuvimos un problema con el Control de la calefaccion de la Habitación, y nos ofrecieron un Upgrade de habitación. El desayuno, es muy completo y de buena calidad, pero no tan completo como en otras oportunidades
