Only a year old, so everything still new. Shower just has a shower curtain, not glass ..... no tub. But staff is welcoming and friendly!

Property was great as was the staff! Breakfast in the morning was good but typical hotel fare. Only issue was elevator out of order and we had to haul or luggage upstairs. Thanks for the nice stay!

Overpriced

I’m honestly upset to have paid over $200. For a night here. They also charge your card an extra $100., then say if your not charged for incidentals, the will refund you card in 2-5 days. The small and underwhelmingly bland room was nice, clean and in working order. It was annoying to book a double king and only get 1 tiny shampoo, 1 tiny conditioner. The pillows are terrible. A hotel at that price should have full size toiletries installed for guests. My hair goes down to my bottom and that wasn’t even enough for me, let alone the rest of my family. There was no pool. Our window view was of a highway. The breakfast was ok, but not as good as your typical $100. hotel room. This place should be like $75. Per night. I feel ripped off. Nothing grand about it.

The property was very nice and quiet. The staff was easy qoing and helpful. The upper porch was a great place to sit with the firepit onand was cozy. They are still doing some construction on the property and the elevator was out is the only reason that rating is a 4. Looks like they may be completely wonderful soon.

Beautiful new property with a nice room. The only issue is that we stayed during winter and the floor is extremely cold in the carpeted room as well as the tiled restroom. Next time we will bring slippers. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunate Stay

I came to Cloudcroft, per usual, to getaway and have a relaxing space. I usually choose the Grand Cloudcroft Hotel as it is a comfortable and great space to relax and unwind. However, I brought my dog and all we could hear are footsteps upstairs, kids running up and down the stairs (close to quiet hours), people talking in the lobby at 6 am. Needless to say it was not the trip I was looking for at a time I need most.
