The Morris House is a unique hotel. Just around the corner from Independence Hall, we were in walking distance to the historical museums and parks. Plenty of eating establishments nearby as well. Our car never left the convenient parking garage across the street, and we received a discount by staying at the Morris House to boot! The hotel is a great value, and the staff was wonderful.

I love this property. The staff makes you feel like family. The rooms and quaint and cozy. Do not skip the fresh cookies and baked goodies. I have stayed a few times and it is always my first choice when heading down to Philly.

Historical boutique hotel in the heart of Philly. Attentive staff and a continental breakfast beyond expectations. The house has an old library feel with multiple fireplaces in seating areas.

Beautiful hotel, full of character and historic charm. Staff were incredibly warm and friendly and knowledgable about the area and the history of the home. Very comfortable rooms with thoughtful touches, bed is incredibly comfortable and rooms are well sound proofed. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with healthy, high quality ingrediants. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable hotel capturing the local spirit of the area.

Love this place! So comfortable! Greeted and given a tour of this 1787 building. Beautiful room. Only items of note; lack of enough hot water and one TV would not compat with stations. Will be back!

Had no idea this place existed. Stayed here bc it is close to the hospital where my husband was having a procedure. So charming. Staff was awesome. Nice big comfortable room with king bed. Decent continental breakfast and delicious homemade cookies. Wish we had more time here and a chance to try the restaurant

Beautiful historic Hotel

My husband and I stayed there on Christmas night because we were visiting family and needed to stay in the city to see friends the next day. The place is beautiful. The hotel staff was wonderful even taking the time to tell us the history of the hotel. We cannot wait to go back as we have a lot of family and friends that still live in Philly.

Highly recommend this Hotel!! My standards are extremely high ! They met every one of my marks! Very very clean and well put together!! The bed was very soft and the pillows were abundant! The water was extremely hot and it’s pretty quiet in the room minus the vibration of the subway underfoot. The breakfast was cute! Muffins, coffee cake, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, English muffins, an assortment of Tea plenty of hot water and coffee and a few other things. All of the staff is very attentive! They offered to help us with our bags which was not necessary but we were thankful! Parking is across from the hotel and it was $48 for 24 hours. It was a very easy and beautiful experience! Highly recommend!
