Old, muster, dirty, cochroaches, mouldy blankets from wardrobe, curtains were old, ugly & dirty, very cold & damp, remotes not working, beds only had a cover no warm blankets. Couldn't get anyone to check us in, bad Customer service, no one was ever in Reception to check us in or answer calls, didn’t follow through with any emails. The pictures in the bookings are not like how the apartment is at all. Worst accommodation I have eva been in.

Dirty and disgusting

The room was beyond dirty, mouldy and downright disgusting. Photos taken and sent to management with no reply. We had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the apartment so that we could sleep in it (even though it was still dirty). I will NEVER stay here again, which is such a shame because the facilities for a young family would be perfect.

Unfortunately there was just a run of things that didn't work. I was there for work purposes, having access to wifi was extremely important. No wifi the entire week. The first unit smelled mouldy, the fridge was dirty and the air vent was very noisy. As I was conducting meetings all day this was disruptive. The office sign says their staffed until 4:30 but twice out of the week I went in at 2pm and repeaetedly checked they were unstaffed the whole afternoon. They move rooms for me - quickly and easily. apprecate that. However the fridge in the second unit, still had bacon in it from previous person and I had to clean out the microwave. The dust bunnies beside the bedside table and bedhead were not good. The living room furniture was well worn. but dining table and chairs ok I worked from there. The next incident was I washed my uniform Thrusday afternoon and discovered the dryer didn't work. Office not attended. I text the number and explained that I had to leave the apartment but needed dry clothes for the next day. Quick response, they left me a key to another apartment to use that dryer. I didn't finsih work until 8:30pm at night and I used the key and unlocked the door to discovered I had walked into another persons apartment that was living there. laptop no tgeh table, lights on Tv on etc, I very quickly stepped back out. I can see the key couild be a simple error, however my uniform and clothes are still wet. of which I then had to drive around late at night to find a

The property was showing signs of wear and tear. When we arrived there was only one roll of toilet paper for 4 days enquired about more they were out. Eventually supplied with additional roll. Unable to connect to the internet also limited tv channels available.

We loved our stay. Apartment is a little aged but was very spacious and perfect for my family. Kids loved with warm pool and outdoor spa. Great parking options for our cars. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Beach is literally across the road, just a sort 2 minute work. The bowls club across the road does a great dinner and breaky. Highly recommend Sandcastles Apartment. We will definitely be back!

Comfy bed, apartment needs updating

In 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Quiet location. Bed was comfortable. Newish carpet, renovated bathroom and kitchen. Aircon, secure underground parking. Apartment requires updating. Curtains half on hooks, old leather lounge disgustingly very well worn, toilet seat very loose, kitchen drawers had crumbs in them so emptied and cleaned them, no prior warning of no lifts on property so had to carry suitcases etc up 3 flights of stairs. Coffee shops nearby. Opposite Park Beach Bowls Club and Hoey Moey Hotel.

It was a great spot, just looking a bit aged and I thought a few areas in the rooms good have been cleaner, the curtains were falling off window. and the quilt covers a bit ugly. Also the outdoor area around pool area good have an update, the plants didn’t look very good in pots, and no real private areas.
