Christmas break
We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door.
There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs.
The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not acknowledged and how to access the property was only sent on the day of arrival. There were also several references to what was not acceptable yet the state of the property was poor and there was nothing provided other than half a roll of toilet paper, half a bottle of soap and a very small quantity of watered down washing up liquid.
Luckily were were there to visit relatives so only had to spend a very limited time in the property. It did not add to our enjoyment of Christmas.
I raised these issues with the property managers soon after our arrival but have still had no response.
Anyone considering this property should also be aware it is on a main road and is very noisy as the windows let traffic noise in through the vents.
