We prepaid for a week at this hotel via Hotels.com. We were there for the birth of our first grandchild. Day one, she went into active labor and we didn’t think about the check in part. We just figured we would check in the next day. Since we paid for the week, we didn’t think it mattered. This review is negative for the hotel and Hotel.com as they cancelled our whole paid reservation since we didn’t call them on the day my daughter was giving birth. We paid for entire week and neither side will refund the money. We actually needed that place the rest of the week, but since they canceled the whole thing we had to make other arrangements, costing us more money. If I could give ComfortSuites Colorado Springs East and Hotels.com negative 10, I would. This was an extenuating circumstance. We even had insurance on it. Neither side even tried to help. We are very disappointed. If this gets reviewed and adjusted, I will gladly revise my rating.
