Hotel did not have an elevator to take our luggage up to our room, had to take the stairs. The room was more like a Motel-6 which was disappointing. This will probably be our last stay at a Quality Inn.

The hotel is clean, and we like the pool and hot tub. The first room we were given smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and we were given another room. We only book non-smoking. My family has stayed at this Quality Inn twice, and both times we have been informed about a damage deposit upon check-in rather than through Expedia. Due to this, we will not book with them again. I don't like hidden fees, charges, or deposits.

When we went to check in they let us know they were out of cribs, which was frustrating because my toddler is so difficult to sleep with and doesn’t fall asleep easily not in one. We ended up asking to pay the fee for a roll away bed, and the lady at the front desk let us know that they no longer do that. Even though that was advertised on the webpage the night before when I booked the hotel. If there is an elevator on site it was impossible for us to find it, so we had to hike everything up the stairs. Also, there are very limited parking spaces. Us, including others were parked in a random dirt lot. It was inconvenient and didn’t feel as safe. The room had a musty smell but overall looked very clean, as well as the bathroom. The continental breakfast was also great. So there were definitely pros and cons, but it was a good amount cheaper than most other hotels nearby.

We stayed twice at this hotel because of its proximity to the Colorado Springs airport. We were driving to another location for a few days and then driving back to fly back home. The first reason that we will not stay at this location again is the fact that there is no elevator and we had to drag our bags up and down the stairs. We are elderly and this definitely makes a difference to us. The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful. During our first stay, the check-in person asked us if it might be difficult for us to carry our luggage up the stairs and was able to have us stay on the first floor. During our second stay, the hotel was fully booked and no downstairs rooms were available. In addition, the bathtub faucet handle was loose and came off and the shower diverter did not work. We reported this to the front desk and hopefully they have fixed this. The fan in the bathroom was also louder than we would have liked.
