When we arrived the staff was nice and checked us in right away. When we went to our room the floors were not clean. I found toe nail clippings, a pubic hair in the shower. Once we got ready for bed I found a bug in my pillow. I killed it and after some googling. I realized it was a bed bug. I was so freaked out but my kids were already a sleep. I tried inspecting the rest of areas in the room. Needless to say that u was not able to sleep all night and we checked out first thing in the morning. The experience was horrible

The newly appointed manager and a desk clerk got in a huge fight at the front desk while i was waiting for a ride. The clerk was "work checking" her manager and the argument got quite heated as she obviously would not accept criticism. He's frustration increased as they bickered back and forth about her attitude etc. She wasn't exactly welcoming when i arrived and failed to write down my room number so i had to go back to the desk and get it. The main issue is that they should have gone into the office area for their fight, and not continued for at least 10 minutes at the desk. It was embarrassing and highly unprofessional. However the clerk should have kept quiet and not talked back to her superior. She for sure is not suitable for the hospitality industry.

Staff and common areas were pleasant and accommodating. Did have some issues with room service actually cleaning our rooms, we never had our towels replaced or trash removed despite leaving the “service needed” hanger on the door. We thought maybe it was bc the “do not disturb” sign was on the other side and they got confused so we left it off the other days and still nothing. I had to stop one of the ladies in the hall for new towels and she was very nice about it.

My stay was not pleasant and comfortable at all . It took 30 mins to check in while there was no one at the reception.As we booked through Expedia it looks like hotel was not giving us any choice . They gave us room just in the car parking area whole time it was super noisy and uncomfortable. There was no tea coffee maker or microwave inside the room , no closet to hang our clothes even no area as closet to keep our bags . It was very tiny room and dirty as well . This was terrible experience .

Bar and kitchen staff were very very nice. Breakfast was soso. I was surprised the hotel did not offer microwaves or coffee pots for the rooms. Desk staff said it was a "Tru" policy like that made it ok. I like hot tea at night so not ok.

Rooms were nice but no microwave or coffee maker is ridiculous for those prices. When I asked about it, they said it was because they wanted two customers to be more social to come downstairs and use the microwave, etc. What if I didn’t feel social? I was in Colorado Springs to bury my father. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and the staff was wonderful.

Excellent Hotel

The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic. The only negative that I found was that there wasn't an in room coffee maker. It wasn't a big deal, but I enjoy having coffee as soon as I wake up and don't necessarily want to have to do my hair and get dressed before having coffee.
