With 4 bedrooms: 2 King suites (one on the main level), a queen bed with vaulted cathedral ceiling, and double twin, there's space to relax and unwind! Swing and chat on the double front porches, and hang on the rear deck complete with string lights! Walking distance to a park and restaurants!

You won't want to leave this original southern style historic home (on the National Historic Register for Homes)! You're minutes to the heart of Columbia downtown! Go explore, but come back and rest and relax on the 3 dreamy southern porches perfect for entertaining! With sleeping space for 8 in comfortable beds, we are sure you won't want to leave this taste of true southern hospitality.
Please note we allow up to 9 guests, but that's for a baby/infant or if the 9th wants to use a queen air mattress we have on the property or if the 9th wants to sleep on the couch. A $25/extra guest fee per night applies to the 9th guest. This does not apply to infants in a pacnplay.
This is a 4bed/2.5 bath, 2 story home with 2 King beds, 1 Queen, 2 twins, and a queen sized air mattress.
Access: There are two steps up to the welcoming front porch where you can chat and swing! Use a smart lock with a unique to you code for access anytime!
Inside the grand 2 story foyer, and on the Main Floor you will find:
-King Bedroom (in the primary parlor) with a desk, TV & Roku, and room darkening shades for blissful sleep
-a half bath on the main floor
-Dining Room with Seating for 6-8
-Living Room with 64" TV with Roku, built ins, a desk area, and comfortable seating to rest, relax, and gather with family or friends
-an eat-in fully stocked Kitchen, w/ island complete with a gas cook top, all cooking essentials, 4 bar stools and stainless steel appliances
-Coffee bar with a Keurig, coffee pods and assorted teas, sugar and stevia packets, as well as a drip coffee maker for ground coffee (filters provided).
Upstairs, you will find:
-a King Master bedroom with upper balcony, including patio seating to enjoy the swaying SC Palm tree off the bedroom
-Private King ensuite bathroom with stand up shower, double sinks, vanity area w/stool, and two bedroom closets
-Master bedroom also has a new TV with Roku
-a double twin bedroom with grey stripe bedding (great for kids, too)
-toys and children's books in the closet for your use
-a baby gate
-other children's items like a pacnplay or high chair
-A Queen bed suite with vaulted cathedral ceiling is painted a soft blue
-Enjoy the view of the surrounding historic homes and incredible sunsets from the many windows overlooking the area

Upstairs also offers a shared hall bathroom with deep tub/shower combo, Maytag washer and dryer, fresh towels, an iron, ironing board, clothing steamer, and laundry pods for your use.
We provide all linens, towels, make-up remover, starter laundry pods, coffee, tea, cleaning supplies, and some cooking essentials like olive oil & spices. We also provide 1-2 rolls of paper towels, 2-3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dish washer pods, and a clean sponge, dish towel, and 4-5 trash bags per stay.

There are TWO exterior security cameras actively recording and monitoring the front door and the rear deck doors. If any guest tampers, covers, or blocks the security cameras in any way, their stay will be canceled without refund immediately. This is for the safety of the property we monitor these cameras record these exterior doors.

We don't live too far away from this property, so we can be there in a few minutes if something comes up! We actively monitor our properties via exterior survelliance cameras to ensure our guests and properties are safe.
Located in the heart of Elmwood Park, this home is in the absolute most ideal spot in Downtown Columbia! Absolutely beautiful historic homes surround this property along tree lined streets. There is a wonderful park within walking distance with splash pad in the summer and playground and covered picnic areas just .2 miles or 2 blocks down the street! There are some eclectic restaurants closeby!
There is free on street parking directly in front of the home and along the side. We have 1 parking spot under the deck for guest use as well.
We decorate this home for Halloween & Christmas. The neighborhood really goes all out for major holidays!
The Carriage House directly behind the home is also owned by the owner and used as a short term rental. It feels very much just like the house next door. Contact us if you'd like to rent both houses. Help us be great neighbors by not disturbing our neighbors and honoring quiet hours.
In addition to federal/state/local laws, and any laws enforced by your booking app, please be mindful and respectful of the following house rules:
- NO Smoking in or on the property! This is a strictly no-smoking property. If you smoke we will charge you an additional cleaning fee plus a $100 charge for ozone remediation.
- No parties, large gatherings, or loud noises. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am
- No unapproved guests, unless otherwise agreed upon/given permission by host. Only the guests quoted on the stay are permitted onto the property. If you have any unapproved guests, we will charge a fee of $100/unapproved guest, and require the extra guests to vacate the premises immediately. Please approve any extra visitors with us prior to bringing them onto the property even stopping by for a few minutes as we have Code Enforcement rules to adhere by in regards to guest count.
-Guests must provide first and last names of all guests and visitors on the reservation, as well as, ages of all guests.
-No bookings under the age of 25. Anyone under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 at all times while staying on the property.
-Pet friendly with a $75 pet fee for up to 2 dogs, and $100 for 3. If you bring an unapproved pet/animal, we will charge a $100 fee for additional cleaning, and will require your pet/animal to be removed immediately. Pet fee goes towards extra deep cleaning required to free the home of any allergens for other guests.
- If early check-in or late check-out are needed, please contact us no later than 7pm the day before check-in or check-out. We will try to accommodate we cannot guarantee anything. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you cannot check-in earlier than the noted check-in time and day, or check-out later than the noted check-out time and day. If you attempt to check-in earlier or stay past your check-out time without our permission, there will be an additional fee of $50/hr to pay our cleaners as they are prompt and need to be paid for their waiting time. We may also call the police for trespassing should you overstay your welcome.
- If you break/damage something, or discover something broken/damaged, please let us know
- Do not move furniture / appliances / etc.
- Do not unplug important electronics (i.e. appliances, internet, etc)
- Do not unplug, block, or tamper with exterior surveillance cameras
- Nothing but toilet paper in the toilets
To be mindful of during stay: Please help us save our quilts/duvets by sleeping inside the sheets and not on top due to body oils/lotions/sunscreens leaving stains on our nicer duvets which are more expensive to replace.
