Somewhat disappointed

We decided to stay here because the reviews from others, however I was surprised with our experience once we arrived. We were checked into a room that had another woman in it….. they said that they have a system that doesn’t allow them to see who is which room in real time. Which was very considering, especially when I went to the gym the next day. I did have worries because the room was no longer locked. The body wash was completely emptied. This was a non smoking room but the bathroom did have scents of cigarette smell. When I told the front desk they mentioned they would check the next day once we checked out. Lastly, the gym cleaning wipes were completely dried out, so there was nothing to clean the equipment. The staff overall was pretty friendly, however overall I was just a bit disappointed in the stay taken it had higher ratings than all other hotels in the area.

Made Expedia reservations 2.5weeks prior to arrival. Upon arrival, acted completely confused who I was, & proceeded to ask me all kinds of very personal questions, even after showing my Expedia reservation. My 13 yr old daughter & I arrived at 3pm & there was only 2 cars in parking lot & waiting 15 for clerk to check which room to place us in, he put us in a room that the main light in the room did not work (& a/c wasn’t very cool). I called & told them about the light, & the front desk guy came & brought me to a replacement rm 2 doors down. main rm light worked, but bedside reading lamp was broken off wall & hanging by wires. A/c was cool so I just settled on room. Strange they placed us in rms that had the only other occupant on the floor next door. Room appeared clean but over time we noticed floor hadn’t been truly mopped, fresh stains on bedspread near face area, shower & bath em had hairs and dirty in corners. We wore flip flops to shower. No shower cap or xtra blaket.Blow dryer sparked.1 small soap & 1 makeup remover for sink area. No lotion. breakfast typical for hotel this quality. Stayed 5 nights & chose a hotel w/pool intentionally for my child to have something to do. Noticed immediately pool area had NO chairs, etc, so went to Walmart & purchased camp chairs & only when returning found out pool was closed until “at least” May 1st. Paid full price w/o pool access w/o closure notice. Super loud & pot riddled halls entire stay. Other nearby LaQ is WAY WAY NICER!

This property would have gotten a 10/10 if it had not misled about their pool. Lists a pool to get people to perhaps stay for that amenity and then informs after the transaction it is closed. Otherwise, a great hotel if you don’t mind dishonesty.

Wow! Where to begin!!! Upon arriving at the facility I inquired about AAA and/or military discount. I was told that since I acquired my reservation through a third party that they couldn’t do anything other than what I was quoted through Expedia. Fair enough. Then they began tacking on their charge. I was going to give Expedia a crappy review but then once I got to the rooms I was assigned two rooms one of which the key didn’t work, not a big deal…so they offered a single king instead of my double queen. With some minor communication issues we finally got our two double queens. Again not horrible just a little frustrating, nothing big. We checked in, unloaded the truck and turned on the AC, we left and resumed the activities we were in town for. When we returned there were PUDDLES, LARGE PUDDLES of water from the AC that drained into the floor. Again frustrating but okay, I get it. Then we went to take our dogs to potty and there is almost no where for them to go. The property is covered with rocks. We had to go out to the road in the front for our dogs to potty. Again frustrating, probably not worthy of a terrible review. Finally, began looking for the laundry and come to find out they have a single washer and a single dryer for the entire building to use. This was the final straw. I have always enjoyed my stays with Wyndham hotels I always return to them they are really the only ones I use, until today. I don’t know if I will ever use them again. This is a terrible place.

I came here for the weekend for my church event. I must say I was very surprised even with reading the reviews of other guess. I like that the location didn't put me too far out from my church. Everything that I wanted to do was on the same road from one end to another, I didn't have to get back on the express way for anything except to get to my church. The staff was very kind, I even like that when I got back to my room after 11 p.m. the main entrance was locked which meant I had to use my key card to gain access. I traveled alone this trip and my room was located on the first floor making me feel even safer while I was there. The only downside is the fact that there is no closet to hang your clothes up and the sink is right at the door when you walk in instead of being in with the shower and the toilet. Overall I loved my stay and definitely would book with them again.
