The best way to recharge

The bed was so comfortable with every type of pillow you could want, I got the best night of sleep in a long time. The mocha and breakfast burrito were also stellar in the morning. Crispy potatoes and plenty of filling in the burrito and it came with a chunky salsa verde.

Cozy, unique property with good location. Disappointed weather precluded use of pool. Main complaint-not enough electrical outlets, none by the bed, and two of the few did not work to charge devices when the light was off (as in all night). They need to upgrade that aspect.

Nice vintage hotel with moldy smelly rooms

The hotel itself is very nice and has a cool vibe. The lobby is pretty and has a vintage look. The rooms are nicely decorated but have q very strong moldy odor. I was in room 112 at first and couldn’t stay. The smell was unbearable and the bedding felt damp. I requested to be moved to another room and it was much better. Still had a moldy smell but not as strong. Location is great and the staff was super nice and friendly.

I had an overall mixed experience during my stay. The staff, including the barista, were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, outgoing, and gave great recommendations for exploring Athens, which really added to the experience. The lobby was also super cute and comfortable, making a great first impression. However, the room itself was disappointing. It felt more like a rundown motel than the boutique experience I was hoping for. The decor was outdated, and the general condition of the room didn’t match the charm of the public spaces. The pool, although delightful to use, was also in need of some maintenance. While the location and the wonderful staff were a highlight, the overall feel didn’t match the boutique vibe I was expecting. I’d still consider staying here for the friendly service and cozy lobby, but the room and pool could definitely use some attention.

Great location but disappointed with the service.

The air conditioner was leaking on the floor. There was no information in the room advising how to call the front desk. I walked to the lobby to advise of the leak and that the light was out when you entered the room. I also requested top have the bed made. I was assured it would all be taken care of. When I returned at late at night nothing was done.

Convenient location. Appreciated the unique decor. Thankfully, the room was very quiet. A/C ran nonstop but room never really did get cold enough, no matter how low we set the temperature.

The location of this hotel is amazing, unfortunately it’s a hotel that is not insanely well maintained. The room smelled musty, there was mold in the shower, outlets didn’t work, and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. It’s got a lot of potential and was great last time I stayed 10 years ago, but needs some TLC

I first have to say the staff was very professional, polite, friendly, and made me feel very welcome. They quickly responded to an issue that I had with the TV and kept communication open a timely manner. My issue with the hotel is when I walked into the room. There was a very musky, moldy smell. The room felt damp and wet feeling when you sat on furniture and bedding, the pillows smelled moldy, and within an hour of me being in the room I had a horrible sinus headache and returned home from my stay sick. The room is very humid. The door does not seal well, therefore allowing the humidity into the room creating this conditions. The mirror was broken in several places creating a safety hazard for me being able to get cut if I was not super careful. In fairness I do plan on emailing the hotel with these concerns as well so they may address them accordingly.
