Very comfortable and clean room

Very comfortable and clean room. Loved the soap and lotion! Breakfast was delicious. Only thing I would say is the shutters in bathroom don’t close completely shut and at night while taking a shower used ingenuity to close them.

A lovely, comfortable, historic property with friendly staff. We especially appreciated the call we received from them while en route, making sure we were on a safe path and not driving into dangerous, flash-flooded roads. The dining area was accessible during non-breakfast hours, making a microwave, wine glasses, etc. available if needed. We also enjoyed the modern art pieces throughout the property. Thank you, hotel Giles for a pleasant stay for our anniversary (and for the card with well-wishes)!

Paid and opted not to stay after all. The place did not match the glowing reviews online and we did not feel comfortable staying overnight. It was "sold out" online yet there were no cars at the property. The hotel was disturbingly desolate and the town was empty. Eeriest feeling.

Hotel Giles is an awesome historic place. Once you walk in through the doors there is a calming feeling of the hotel. The rooms are cozy and have exactly what you need.

Quiet, friendly, comfort with beautiful courtyard.

Hotel Giles was so beautiful. We loved the quiet, peaceful, friendly atmosphere. No loud guests, quiet hours allowed undisturbed sleep. We loved it. The distance from Fredericksburg was a short, scenic drive.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. Shower and copper bathtub were phenomenal. Breakfast was some of the best I have had, and my wife and I have travel a lot. Looking forward to booking our next stay at Hotel Giles.
