Welcome to Casa Cerca del Sol – a well-equipped villa with a private pool and hot tub!
The villa is set on a 10,000-square-meter plot in a rural location, offering peace and quiet just a short drive from the charming whitewashed village of Cómpeta, known for its variety of shops, bars, and restaurants.
The south- and west-facing terrace provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains – especially the Maroma, which at 2,065 meters is the highest peak in the Axarquía – the Sierra Almijara, and the lush landscape stretching all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of Gibraltar or the Rif Mountains of North Africa on the horizon. In the evenings, the sunset can be enjoyed to the fullest with a glass of wine in hand.
The villa is accessible via paved and concreted roads; while the driveway is steep, it is manageable with any car. Málaga Airport is about 1 hour and 20 minutes away, while several beaches, the Aquavelis water park, El Ingenio shopping center, and Baviera Golf Course can all be reached in just 30 minutes. The villa is ideally located to explore the Mediterranean coast, the Alhambra in Granada, and the nearby mountain ranges with their ski resorts – or simply to enjoy authentic Spanish living through horseback riding, hiking, or mountain biking. The Cueva de Nerja – just 35 minutes away – is one of the largest cave systems in Europe. Known for its spectacular stalactites, it is often referred to as the “Cathedral of the Paleolithic.” Nerja itself is a lively coastal town full of shops, cafés, and bars.
Inside, the villa features a spacious living and dining area with Wi-Fi, smart TV, fireplace, and large windows offering views of the terrace, mountains, and sea. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, kettle, toaster, and air fryer. Of the three bedrooms (approx. 12 m² / approx. 10 m²), two are furnished with double beds and large built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom (approx. 13 m²) is designed for children and features a bunk bed with one bed on top and two beds below (each 90 x 190 cm). Even in summer, the indoor spaces stay comfortably cool, and all three bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.
