Its a nice place but its out of date and definitely needs some attention. But my biggest problem was that i got food poisoning from dinner during my second night.

This is a very beautiful, unique property with a river running right through the middle of it. There is a bridge to cross over, various areas to explore, and several swimming pools. The included breakfast is excellent—you can choose off a menu of various hot meals like eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, and traditional Dominican meals. The rooms are very basic but have fans and a/c; however it got cool enough at night that we didn’t use those. WiFi was so weak in our room we really couldn’t use it, but the signal at the pool and restaurant was strong. We had fun playing pool and ping pong. It was slow season so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Rates were very reasonable, and although the place was a bit rundown, it was clean, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Reservé 8 habitaciones y las 8 estaban feas y en malas condiciones los baños sucios, las puertas no sirven todo se escuchaba desde las demas habitaciones porque no hay privacidad por las puertas rotas con hoyos ,en realidad no volvería a quedarme en JRC. Lo único es los empleados son muy amables , por lo demás o lo recomiendo no siive.

The resort has an amazing location with the river on the property and a nice pool, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms were in bad condition—shower doors falling, water leaking from the ceiling, and poor internet connection. We were told renovations are planned soon, and I hope this is true because the place has great potential and many activities in the area. I would recommend it once these issues are fixed

The place is great for the price and area. The property is an older one but the rooms are clean. The staff are great once again this is a big property in a smaller town. The views are amazing , the restaurant overlooking the river . I have stayed here before and everything was great like my last stay. Please understand this is an older property so don’t expect conditions of a brand new hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, traditional Dominican food with a variety of breads and fruits. Will visit again!

The internet was not working the TV and antennas were also not working although the reception assisted the tech person never checked it out this is not good for tourists from other countries that come in to enjoy themselves
