We had a truly wonderful stay at Da Sophia. The property is set on stunning, spacious grounds surrounded by olive, orange, and fig trees, along with a beautifully maintained garden that adds so much charm and tranquility. The covered seating area beside the pool is a gorgeous spot to relax and unwind at any time of day.The villa itself is large and airy, with a huge living room and breathtaking views from almost every room. While the villa isn’t air-conditioned, we found it to be more than comfortable. Thanks to its elevated position, it enjoys a lovely natural breeze, and the fans provided kept us cool throughout our stay.Sophia, the host, is an absolute gem, warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. She provided all the helpful information we needed and even left a bottle of red wine and treats for the teenagers, which was such a lovely touch. She lives just below the villa with her two adorable dogs, and is always nearby if you need anything. She even shared some of her homegrown tomatoes and lemons with us,so fresh and delicious! The villa is around a 20 minute walk to Pelekas village, which we enjoyed walking to in the early mornings and evenings. Pelekas is a charming village with a few great local restaurants, shops, and bakeries. We also hired a car during our stay, which I would highly recommend. Like most places in Corfu, it’s the best way to explore the island and easily reach the beautiful beaches nearby.Overall, I can't fault our stay it was peaceful, pr
