Our home is a true Greek experience! A lovely, authentic and traditional Greek maisonette in the heart of the picturesque village of Antiperni, a typical Corfiot village.
Antiperni is a traditional, non touristic and very quiet village with many old houses and numerous churches, located in a green, hilly landscape in the central north part of Corfu Island. Moments away from Sidari, Roda, and Acharavi.
The space:
The house was at one time an olive press, still abundantly apparent from the 'litharia' - or thick stone walls - surrounding the home and there is a sitting area in the front patio, an ideal spot for a morning coffee in the shade, under the vine pergola.
Entrance:
At the front of the house is a private gated patio area, leading to the entrance.
Living space:
The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen have direct access to the lovely naturally shaded terrace. There is comfortable seating, a flat screen TV, an antique wooden cupboard and a table and chairs. The well-equipped kitchen features a full size fridge, oven and microwave.
Bedrooms and bathrooms:
Stairs from the lounge lead up to the bedrooms on the first floor. There's a twin bedroom with a full size wardrobe and a window opening towards the East of the hills, a double bedroom with an antique dresser, a full size wardrobe and balcony doors which open to the cozy, shared balcony with the single bedroom next door. To the left of the living room there is a bathroom with a shower, WC and washing machine.
Domestic Services:
• For stays of 7 days or longer, a mid-week maid service and change of linens and towels is offered complimentary.
• Gardener.
On request, payable locally:

Location:
Antiperni is a pretty, picturesque village «encountered» by dense vegetation and located next to the village of Karousades. The village is situated in the central North part of Corfu, on the top of a hill with scenic views to the valleys on the East and West side of the village. It is said that Antiperni has preserved its name from mythology, because Homer refers to this village with the name Antipernaia, which means «to go across», meaning across the fortress of the city of Faiakes which is believed to be situated on the hill where, Agrafi is today. It is a very quiet village, even though it is a few minutes away from the big resorts of the north coast of the island, Sidari, Roda, and Acharavi.
From Antiperni, one has multiple beach options to choose from, all within a short drive. The closest being Astrakeri beach, 3.1km away. Additionally, there are countless outdoor locations to explore. For instance, Nymfes village and its waterfalls, 7.5km away; The Unesco Heritage village of Old Perithia, 22km away; Afionas village, a wonderful picturesque little village with nice traditional houses, narrow white-paved streets, colourful gardens and breathtaking views, 12.4km away. There are multiple trekking and scenic bicycle routes in the region to explore. Culinary and local delights await for everyone to enjoy.
The closest mini market and grocery store is 62 meters away on foot. The local café and bar is 25 meters away on foot. The closest restaurant is 1.1km away. The closest major centers with banking, supermarkets, shopping, and going out are either 5.5km west in Sidari or 8.2km east in Acharavi.
