Amazing staff beautiful well kept grounds. Be sure to rent a shovel to dig a hole to sit in the hotsands beach. One of my favorite activities to do in new zealand.

The incredible views and warm and welcoming proprietors really stood out. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We arrived rather late and only stayed one night, so we didn't avail ourselves of all they had to offer (e.g., cold pool, hot tub and breakfast). But we would gladly stay there again.

We rang ahead for information after the recent storm, flooding and road closures before travelling. The staff member we spoke to (Bailey?) was extremely friendly and very helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super friendly staff member - check-in was easy and stress-free. Our room was spotlessly tidy, spacious and very comfortable. We had air conditioning and comfortable long chairs in the lounge, perfect for relaxing after a busy day outdoors. There was a TV in both the lounge and one of the bedrooms, which was a nice bonus. The property also featured two bathrooms/showers, carpet upstairs, a washing machine/dryer and an outdoor verandah with a beach view beyond the first row of houses. There was a small driveway for our vehicle and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was. The resort is just one street away from town and the beach, making it easy to get around. Overall, an excellent stay! It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend Oceans Resort and would happily stay here again. Thanks so much Oceans Resort!
