The nation's capital, Canberra, can be found around 260 kilometres to the east of Corowa.

The peaceful sounds of nature await you at Wonga Wetlands. It's located just 45 kilometres away, so you won't need to be on the road all day. Beechworth Visitor Information Centre, 50 kilometres away, is one more recommended option.

Golfers of all levels will appreciate a round at the Corowa Golf Club.

Venture further afield and find out what's going on in Wahgunyah, 6 kilometres to the east. Lots of travellers come here for the Rutherglen Golf Club and Rutherglen Park. Alternatively, Rutherglen is 11 kilometres to the southeast of Corowa. Head to this destination for convenient access to the Rutherglen Wine Experience and Corowa Shire Civic Centre.

Yarrawonga, 30 kilometres to the west, is a great day trip. Use it as a port of call when visiting the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club, Kennedy Memorial Park and the Yarrawonga-Mulwala Pioneer Museum. If you'd like more persuading, other nearby sights include Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre and Byramine Homestead.
