Family trip to the beach

I had family visiting so we booked a trip to the beach. The house was good overall. Had to kill Rollie pollies and small bugs everyday we were there.

Nice but

Nice location for fishing. Small older but completely remodeled cottage. The place was infested with pill bugs/rolly pollys that we had to sweep up multiple times. A rain storm had come through before we arrived and there was a small amount of water that had leaked in the back door that we mopped up. In the heat of the day we had the AC set at 72 but it wouldn't get below 80. When I opened the vent to inspect the filter it was completely clogged like it hadn't been changed in over a year or more. I left it open with the filter removed and the temp started to improve. I had to request the code from the host within an hour of checking in because I hadn't received the info. He informed me he was out of the country. I made him aware of the rolly pollys on day 2 and he did not respond.

We loved Flamingo bay getaway, check in was easy. The place was nice and clean enough space for the 6 of us. Close to an H-E-B. We definitely enjoyed our stay, the only thing was the cleaning lady at check out was very rude, besides that I recommend this place.
