After many years of being away from our favorite little hotel in Port Aransas it was still great with some new touches some new furniture and flooring and it was just enjoyable and a great restful night for me

The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were cleaned. The only ‘bad’ thing about it was that the room smell very strongly like the cleaning products.

Cute place- great location!

We came to Port A for Sandfest 2025. This hotel was a perfect location. Basically, right on the beach and not far from the entrance to SandFest. Our room was spacious. 2 queen beds. Comfortable mattresses. 4 pillows on each bed! YAH! mini-fridge. bar/table that ran the length of the room. Large bathroom with a Walkin shower! Decent water pressure. Best thing- room service and clean towel delivered every day we were there! (4 days) limited breakfast items offered in the office but no sitting area. Hotel was recently painted. Everything was very clean. Humidifier in the room and the AC worked great! Really enjoyed out stay. I would stay there again!

Basic Budget Hotel

Basic budget friendly hotel. Not sure that is what they are going for tho. A/C was super loud and right next to the bed. No soap in the shower dispenser. Limited towels, and no hangers in the corner hanging spot.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a gentleman in the front office, who was super nice made our check in super easy and convenient. their rooms were clean, just as pictured super close to the beach. I definitely recommend and will rebook when visiting portA.

Modern & Beachy!

The place was very modern and clean. Lighting was very bright in all the rooms. A small over head lamp would suffice in the living room, for reading. The kitchen supply was enough for a couple and was missing small appliances for breakfast. A toaster perhaps and a can opener would have made a big difference. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, lack of communication occurred while we were in desperate need of ice. The ice room had been painted and no one was allowed inside. We had to buy from the nearest convenience store. Overall, parking was great between the pool and the building. Great walking distance to the beach, for sure. No elevators so, if you rent a room with a kitchen, don't bring too much to haul!
