Escape to this 1 bedroom, 1 bath bottom-floor condo located right next to the sand dunes and the gorgeous Gulf beyond. Enjoy a host of resort amenities including: pool, boardwalk, tennis courts, charcoal BBQ/picnic area, playground and more, just steps from the door. Perfect for anything from a romantic getaway to a family vacation! Our newly-renovated condo offers a roomy bedroom furnished with a King-size bed and flat-screen TV.
The large living area with beach-themed décor has an inviting, open feel. Relax with a cup of coffee and a good book or watch TV and movies on the large flat-screen TV. This area also doubles as a second bedroom by way of a Twin day bed with pull out Twin trundle.
The fully equipped kitchen, with all new appliances, is just what you need to prepare your favorite meals or snacks for the beach.
The bathroom has a spacious tiled walk-in shower and comfort height facilities.
This ground-level unit also features a private patio with rocking chairs, perfect for taking in a sunrise over the dunes or listening to the surf in the evenings.
Come stay and play at our island retreat. Also available next door is a newly –remodeled studio unit. The condo is conveniently located in the Island Retreat resort and enjoys many resort amenities including a swimming pool, private boardwalk, BBQ area, playground, and laundry facilities.
When you're ready to venture further afield, downtown Port Aransas is just minutes away, and offers an array of dining options, including pizza and scrumptious seafood. Birders will squawk over the much-loved Leonabelle Turner Birding Center, only an 8-minute drive from our door. Golfers, bring your clubs! Palmilla Beach Golf Club is only 7 minutes away.

We love staying at Island Retreat and at this unit in particular. It is clean, quiet, and so conveniently located. The recent renovations to the unit, particularly the kitchen are very nice. Island Retreat is a gem! It is very well maintained and has everything we need - pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, picnic area with BBQ grills, and laundry facilities. The beach is always stunning and is right over the sand dunes. We love sitting on the porch and listening to the waves. We are already planning our next trip!

Cute condo for a short stay

Very happy with the property, everything was clean and tidy. Loved the boardwalk to the beach right behind our place, though it was weird hearing people walk by at night. Happy that they’re so tight on security—honestly left our yeti in our truck bed one night and was relieved it was there in the morning. Would stay here again!

Clean, roomy with king size bed in bedroom and a day bed with trundle. Plenty of room to spread out.

Boardwalk to the beach with lighted pathway and outdoor shower area to wash off Sandy feet after a walk on the beach. Close to town and well maintained property.

Amazing decor and wonderful look and feel! We loved being on the first floor and have a very short walk to the beach and the pool. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice little unit near the beach

This is a nice little unit that has been recently updated, and it was perfect for my small family. We spent quite a bit of time at the beach, which was only a short walk across the boardwalk from our door. We'll definitely look for this unit again when we return to Port A.

Great quick trip!

The property is clean, comfy beds, has WiFi, and very close to the boardwalk to get to the beach (5-ish min walk apt to beach). The only downside is that are monster mosquitoes because of the dune, so bring the bug spray.

Great family vacation!

This is an adorable condo within walking distance of the beach. Up to date and very clean with plenty of amenities! Not far from downtown Port Aransas. We will definitely stay here again for our next Port A vacation!

Great stay

Very clean and welcoming inside and well equipped. Good location to beach access and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Would have enjoyed patio furniture as there was none to sit on on small patio. All in all a great stay.
