Escape into the wilderness at our newly renovated 3-br, 2,700sqf Kowana Valley Lodge. Once a Gold Rush era cottage and 300-acre homestead, the Lodge is perched uphill next to a running creek and features 100% off grid systems to provide the comforts of home in the middle of the Stanislaus National Forest.
The property encompasses an entire valley along the historic Bull Creek, and offers miles of trails through meadow and forest from 2500 ft elevation up to 3,000 ft.
Kowana Valley is great as a stand-alone retreat or as a base-camp for excursions into Yosemite Valley and the surrounding Sierra Foothills.
*OPEN FIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING THE FIRE SEASON IN MARIPOSA COUNTY. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM OPEN FIRES (INCLUDING CAMPFIRES) FROM JUNE 15 TO OCTOBER 31. NON-COMPLIANCE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE RENTAL WITHOUT REFUND.*
