One reason we like to rent with VRBO, is their upfront pricing on their rentals- meaning no hidden or after the fact fees. As for this rental, the apartment is really very nice and the location can't be beat. Everything was clean and ready to welcome guests. If it wasn't for Alex's manner of communication and the request for additional fees, we would happily stay there again. However, unless he changes the wording on the VRBO listing, be aware that the rental does not include sheets and towels, they must be rented. There is also an additional cleaning fee requested at the end of the stay (if you don't want to clean the apartment yourself). Alex informs you of these charges in the confirmation letter, and if you miss that, which I did, you will be surprised by these costs. We left the apartment tidy (dishes washed, counters and surfaces wiped down, etc.) but refused the cleaning fee. When we did so, Alex became very unprofessional in his dealings with us. Anyway, if you are clear on the extra fees and don't have to interact with Alex, it is a very nice place to stay.
