It’s a cheap motel in Courtenay BC. For the price it’s perfect. We live on a neighbouring gulf island and can’t make it home after a show/event with our ferry, so we need something affordable when we’re in town. This was our first stay and certainly won’t be our last. The folks working the desk were friendly and warm.

Affordable, friendly and clean

Very friendly folks, with a convenient affordable place to stay. Great spot for people heading up to the mountain for a day of fun in the snow without the 2 night minimum everything on the mountain seems to require.

Exceeded our expectations for a stay over the holidays. We added an extra night during our stay with no challenges, staff were very helpful. We had our dog with us, there were good areas to walk him. Room was comfortable and clean. Great value!

Bed was very hard and the pillows were very old. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Bathroom door was difficult to close. The front office staff were very polite, friendly and helpful!

Unfortunately the party in the room above us were wrestling around until 3 am. Sounding like they were constantly dropping tools or falling off the bed onto the floor above our heads. We contacted front desk and they came immediately to speak to them. It still continued, however this is not something we can blame the motel. Some people are just high and always up bouncing around. Suggestion, when someone checks in for an early flight the next day, put them on the top floor close to the office. Away from busy sections of the motel
