1) The employees were friendly and helpful. 2) The room was clean. 3) The room was old and tired. Lots of wear and tear. 4) The breakfast look unappealing to me and my son (14) said it was fine, but was greasy. I did not eat anything as the options did not appeal to me. 5) staff did well considering the hotel was packed with sports teams - tough to deal with. 6) The sofa bed in 228 was ok, but the mattresses was old and tired. 7) my suggestion is to starting renovating and you will make your money back increasing rates over time. 8) Take a good look at your "net promoter scores" and look at your detractors to see where your blind spots are. 9) I would recommend to the budget travel. 10) reimagine and reinvent your hotel. Cranbrook has consistent business and leisure travel.

The bed was very very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The toilet bowl was not cleaned. One of the women who checked me in was kind of curt and unfriendly and the vibe was just off putting. They did, however, accommodate my request for a bottom floor room despite being pretty full and I appreciated it.

After many days of travel, we were booked on the 2nd floor here and would have had to use the stairs to get our gear to our room. We requested a move to the lower floor and, although it was a bigger room and more money, we weren't charged extra. It was very hot when we arrived but the room was cool with the AC on to greet us. Breakfast was better than most we had on our long trip and the lady serving the dining are was extremely friendly and helpful.

We have checked in and our room smells musty. Though we are on the lower floor there was four stairs to get to the room, which was manageable, but the hot tub and swimming pool are inaccessible to anyone with disabilities. There is no elevator only a very large flight of stairs.

On check in we were informed that a water pipe had broken and their kitchen was closed for dinner. Hotel is tired and definitely requires up dating. Toilet in room was not secured properly to the floor Breakfast staff were not overly friendly and did not appear to enjoy their jobs. Overpriced for an older property and would not stay again.
