It was an average stay, me and my husband booked for our anniversary, room was either red hot or freezing cold, room could of done with a little updating, if you need silence to sleep, then this isn’t for you, you can hear cars all night long, tv was hit and miss weather it worked. It was clean though. Staff on reception was very helpful when we arrived to get us in a room early. The staff in the bar/cafe was quite slow but friendly. There was a wedding on the Saturday so hotel was took over as didn’t want to use the gym or pool as we didn’t want to walk through them. Wish we had known there was a wedding when booking. No charges for parking though which was a bonus

Very nice hotel and staff the only thing I can complain about is the road noise from the room and I couldn't lock the big window to close it in no handle but everything else was very nice still enjoyed our stay thank you

Great property and lots of parking. The facility was great. We had a huge room. Only drawback was the distance to central Galway. It was about 10 miles away from downtown. The person who checked us in was able to tell us what bus to take (which picks you up liberally right outside the hotel) and that was an easy ride but the traffic was heavy so it took 40 min to go down at rush hour but about 15 min return on the bus later after rush hour had passed.

Nice large rooms. No locks on balcony door. We were told Galway has no crime. Not sure about that! Front desk needs to be contacted to turn on heat in room. Nothing in the room to indicate that. Can catch the bus into town right by the hotel. Breakfast very good!
