We actually stopped next door in the Foxglove hut . It was lovely and cosy and clean. There were plenty of logs for the log burner. The kitchen is next door to the hut and was adequate to cook a meal. We did try the organic veg and meat and they were very good. I would highly recommend taking food essentials as the nearest shop is about a 30min drive away and be aware that the last couple of miles of roads are not that well maintained .... all added to the remoteness of the place and the feel of being in the heart of beautiful countryside and nature. Trevor and Celiece are really lovely relaxed people who make you feel welcome and we’re always around to give an help and information we needed on walks / places to visit
