Shopping can also be easily done on foot or by bike. Forest Adventure, about 25 km away, with its tree climbing and zip lines, will delight young and old alike. For those thirsty for knowledge, reach the museum of underwater research, Cité de la Mer, in Cherbourg. For the bigger ones: Granville, its casino or the wonder of Mont-Saint-Michel, the beaches of D-Day, the nearest of which, Utah Beach, is 50 km away.
