Great clean little motel for a few nights

The hotel was very tidy, rooms were newly updated, spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a little outdated and dirty, sauna was great and the gym was superb! I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning if in Creston.

The people who run this hotel are absolutely lovely. They live in, are accessible, and are part of the hotel community. I couldn't have felt more like I was staying with family - safe, comfortable, welcomed.

Fit and finish of room and facility is not great eg. stairs to upper floor are uneven, painting looks amateur, paint peeling off bedside tables, window finish around air conditioner is poor. Rooms were very clean, staff was friendly, and entire project is quaint. Coffee and fruit bowl was appreciated. Would stay again.

Nice place, hot tub, sauna and gym. Older but well maintained. You draw back was that our room faced Main Street and it was a bit noisy in the evening. I would maybe request a room that didn’t face Main Street

It is an older hotel however it is obvious the owners work hard and take pride in keeping it up nicely. Apartment size refrigerator was great to have. Hot tub was a nice perk after a long day in the car. Nice touch of games available on tables in the common area so you could play cribbage chess or checkers. The “house” cat is friendly when it visits with you. I would stay there again if I was back in Creston BC.

It is difficult to find a staff person without phoning the displayed number. The building is old and while the rooms were clean and beds decent, with a big TV, there's no coffee in the rooms (only in the common area so one must get dressed to get a coffee from a shared 12 cup drip pot) and the bathrooms quite tiny.

We arrived a couple of hours before check-in. The manager noted it, but still let us check in, which was very nice of him. When we got to our room we discovered that the air conditioner was quite noisy, so the staff changed our room to another one, which was very nice of them. I saw that the microwave, the fridge, the tv and a table lamp were all plugged into the same cheap power bar - totally unsafe. We won’t stay here again.

You can tell the property has been around for a while but there have been major upgrades. The rooms are clean and the staff so far have been friendly. I do think the door knobs for the room doors could use an upgrade since they are a bit out dated (I haven’t locked a door this way since 2005) I would feel a bit safer with updated locks.
