Seems a bit sketch

Room was at the end near the back entrance and the outside door never locked so felt not safe . Bathroom door didn’t fully shut. Breakfast is very minimal , mostly items you can put in the toaster. When we came to check-in nobody was at the desk and waited 20 minutes for someone to show up to check us in.

No security, terrible breakfast

There seemed to be very little attention paid to security. The side doors were not only not locked but were propped open all night. This was unsettling for a solo traveler. The room was not the cleanest but it was not helped by the fact that the fixtures and furnishings were long past their prime. The breakfast was so unappetizing that I left with only coffee. I threw that away at the closest gas station. The best I can say is that the young women at the front desk were kind when I checked in and out.

It was fine as I needed a room that accepts a pet as this was all that was available in this town. Outdated and run down. no wifi for 2 of the 3 days that I was there, Overall, the most important was that I could have my pet with me on this trip, so it worked,

Crookstown Inn

Overall, it was a good place to stay! It was reasonably clean, I didn't gat a chance to use the pool, but from the sounds from the pool area, the kids were having a great time. It was a bonus to have a restaurant inside for a weary traveler! The breakfast was good too! I recommend this place.

Our room was clean, the continental breakfast was good, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t see an elevator in the hotel, the whole place needs an update, the water temperature didn’t hold to one temperature, it fluctuated from quite cold to hot while set on one spot.
