Nice hotel, poor comfort and hygiene.

I decided to spend a weekend in this hotel for my wedding anniversary. I had booked a double executive room. We get a room No.: 44 The accommodation: Our room had a view of the roof full of air ducts from the kitchen and swimming pool, from which constant noise and smell spread. I've been in the many hotels before, but here was smallest bed at all. (only a double), the hand shower in the bathroom did not work, there was mold in the corners of the shower. The Leisure center: The water in the pool had not been changed for at least a year, the color was cloudy, the floor around the pool was dirty and damaged, the hot tub was out of order, empty and the service worker told me that it had been broken for a long time. The showers, saunas and locker room were fine. Catering: We had a delicious dinner, on hot plates, the service was pleasant, prompt, but the cutlery was dirty with someone's fingerprints. after the complaint the staff immediately replaced it. It happened both evenings. We ordered hot breakfast, but it was brought to us already cold and dry. It was definitely pre-prepared at least 1 hour before serving. It happened both mornings. This hotel has invested in modernization, but in small details it is run-down and neglected. I will definitely not return here and I will not recommend it to my friends.

Cold room but warmed up with electric heaters on full. Fan didn’t work in shower room. Heated towel rail didn’t work in shower room so it was freezing in there and no hooks behind door or in room to hang up wet towels (holes were there where hooks used to be)

Staff were excellent, Restaurant was great evening dinner and morning breakfast. Rooms were clean and tidy, bed was a bit hard but some people like that. The bathroom in the Churchill suite was outstanding. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely big clean room with very comfortable bed. The hotel is situated in a peaceful quiet street. All staff we met from reception to restaurant and cleaning were lovely chatty and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order. It also had a separate covered gluten free section with bread and cereal and its own toaster.

Highly disappointed in our stay. We booked an executive suite , not sure what level we got but it wasn’t what was advertised, pictured, and paid for. We checked in and room wasn’t ready so went about our day activities to come back and given a room that was tiny. It had a tiny bath and bed. Worse part was the bed was so bad we couldn’t sleep. Miserable experience. I did try talk to management about the switch and rip off but they refused to talk to our local friends and wouldn’t respond to emails. Be careful as these people are dishonest. Selling you one thing and delivering much much less while taking your money.
