This hotel was very close to the airport. It was very easy to jump on the shuttle and we were at the hotel in minutes. After a long travel day it was perfect! Breakfast was good, had a nice variety or choices and staff was super friendly

Terrible breakfast

The room, the staff, the property, the location just perfect. Unfortunately the breakfast is terrible. The offer awful pancakes, terrible bread, they call it fresh, but it was fresh weeks ago, really bad cake. What was good, was tortilla filled with meat and second day chicken curry (?), scrambled eggs and sausages were just average. What I don’t understand why they don’t offer fresh juices and bigger variety of the tropical fruits (only pineapple, watermelon and banana). The dining area is quite small for the big hotel.

The fact it’s close to the airport is the only positive for this place. AC in room barely worked. Cable went out every 5-10 minutes, bathroom door didn’t shut, toilet didn’t work properly and the shuttle never showed up to get us after the driver told us he’d be there in 10 minutes. We waited an hour and found a taxi instead.

Ghe breakfast is absolutely horrible. Not kidding it was really bad. As a place to sleep prior to or after a long flight…ok. Eat elsewhere though and you’ll be fine

Place was nice , breakfast good, but a staff member was very rude. She knew we were waiting for a room since early morning , we checked in several times with her while waiting in the lobby, not once did she say they are now available but rather began to check people who just arrived in . She also made us move other people’s luggage to get our bags out of the storage whereas other employees retrieved the bags for the customers.

If you rent a car from Hertz. They are across the parking lot. Arrived late at night no problems catching the shuttle. Perfect start to our Costa Rica vacation
