Our room was nice. The facilities were nice as well. The staff working Friday evening were a little rude. We had a large group attending a local karate tournament on Sat. We had people from PA, MD, VA, NJ, NC, & FL. We only had about 15 or so of us in the lobby / common area just talking, catching up and playing games. The staff told us that area closed at 10:00 and we would have to leave. I questioned them saying I have never had a lobby in any hotel I stayed close the lobby to its guest. They insisted we had to leave. They even turned the lights out on us. Needless to say, we weren't happy! If the Hampton Inn Dahlgren doesn't want our business from myself and our karate family, we will find another hotel to accommodate us next year.
