Compare Hotels with Parking in Dawson

Had to wait until almost 8pm for a room to be available. The room that I was assigned had, let's just say, it was very obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned.

The hotel was a beautiful historic building and parking was free and plentiful. Bed was comfortable and excellent shower! Was in the center of town and could although there were many shuttered storefronts, there were enough shops to walk to. Ate at the in-house pub both nights. Don’t miss the pimento fritters!

Ok stay on this trip for us all

The property was very clean and so was our room. We were able to park near our room and definitely felt safe. The breakfast menu was limited but fresh. They need to make their room descriptions very clear on the hotels.com website. I paid a little higher amount for an executive room but stayed in a room that was considered a standard room by the previous and original owners. When I told the front desk team member that I paid for an upgrade he was not very accommodating. However, the room was freshly remodeled and very clean. I really value cleanliness in hotels so we did not change hotels.

It was a decent place to stay but the breakfast was gross. Grits not cooked & coffee tasted terrible. Would have liked better accommodations for $171 per night. The good thing is property is close to a lot of restaurants and stores etc

Every staff member I encountered during our stay was so warm and friendly and accommodating.
