So-so...

The TV in the room was not able to be connected to wifi. The remote didnt even have an option to switch TV to an input mode where we could connect something to HDMI... Wifi was slow. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. I liked the overhead shower. The staff was friendly. The balcony was large. The AC worked great. Nice plus to have a full size refrigerator. Needs a little updating or modernization. Nice property though

Poor Customer Service

During the week long stay which was the 4th week in a row the property lost power to half the building. When the owner was asked at the front desk if the power was not restored in the section we were in could we please change rooms for one with power i was rudely told no there would be no room changes allowed. I asked if that night would be at no charge due to no power i once again was rudely told NO that i would still be charged and it wasn't his problem the power was out. Every building around it had power only they had issues.

Bitter sweet stay

I was charged twice and the same night and took a whole week to refund the money back on the card when the person who intake us said that they refunded the money back to the car the same night I called to be told that she never did the refund. So it was done a week later and then took another 4 days for me to receive it because the initial room that they put us in was not up to par so they moved us to another room where the jacuzzi tub was broke. We decided to stay another night so we could have the jacuzzi room where the tub was actually working on our last night that day in the morning my husband and I left to go fishing. When we came back we noticed that someone had been in our room even though we had to do not disturb sign on the door. Aunt, there was water all on the ledge of the tub and we had never even used the tub. We moved our belongings to the room and left to go fishing to leave. Nicole was notified by me and she was boggled as well. I asked her to look at the camera. She said she was not allowed to look at the camera. She didn't have access so I was very disappointed in that. We kind of felt violated but we did love your hotel. Nicole was amazing. She was the best staff. Very attentive, just great. When I let her know about the situation she was upset about it and said that she would help us out if and when we decide to stay again. So we just booked again for June 11th to the 13th. Hopefully it's a lot smoother this time thank you

This is an old motel, recently changed names, and painted. We arrived to check in to an empty front desk, we buzzed the buzzer and waited quite awhile for a young lady to come out. No greeting was offered, no smile. We checked in, and went to check out our room. The key was a little tricky, but we managed. The room was clean, parts of it, recently painted. The bathroom was the only thing that looked like it had been completely remodeled. It had a rainfall shower, but the pressure was low and there were no handrails to hold onto to get into the shower. Our safety lock did not work on the door and reported it, yet no one ever came to fix it. We were only there for 2 nights so we didn’t make a big deal about it. The “breakfast” is a “take and go” set up in the lobby. It consists of prewrapped blueberry or chocolate chip muffins, apples, orange juice and regular coffee…no decaf. There is a sign that you can’t eat in the lobby. Just my opinion, but I’d rather not have anything, if this is all that is going to be provided. I just don’t consider this “breakfast.” The pool area was nice, clean, lots of pool toys. I think they could use more chairs and definitely more umbrellas. While we were there, there was just one with a table. The lounge chairs are too low for me, so I need a chair that is higher. There are stairs going to the beach, no ramp, so if you can’t maneuver stairs like me, you’re out of luck going to the beach. The motel lost power on our last night, no A/C, TV.

Outdated but beach access

When we arrived, there was barely parking. The spaces were very small too. We got our room which was a suite and it did not have a balcony or way to leave the room without going through the entire buidling. There were huge pieces of glass in the halls as well. Very outdated but cleanish. When we asked to move to another room and even pay extra they were rude and said there were no other rooms. Then told us we could get one if we make a whole different reservation. Frustrating to say the least.

When I first areived, the room I was given had a broken ac unit. I was immediately provided with another room, hassle-free. The only thing that made my stay unpleasantly, were The guest next door. They had several dogs which barked from 11pm -1am. The humans were loud themselves, constantly banging on their door because they were locked out. The location, convenience to the ocean, (oceanview) price, breakfast snacks, was what I was looking for. I would stay here again.

Great beds & showers. Right on the beach with nice pool. Daily housekeeping very good. On the negative side, minor maintenance needs to be taken care of..ie the faucet in kitchenette was loose at pass through & handle set screw was missing, the door to balcony had hindge, making it difficult to open or close.

It was a great stay. older building in need of some repairs but the property is right on the beach. The pool was nice and very clean. The room was clean with a beach view. No complaints we will stay here again.

Great view

The stay was nice. The family had a great time at the pool and the beach. The pool was great and beach was awesome. The rooms had a great view of both. The woman at the front desk was very nice and polite. The only problems I have is the towels and the parking. I understand the parking, you only have so much room to work with, that’s understandable. The towels? They can give you more towels. Oh, one more thing. The continental breakfast, needs a little more. Other than that, we had a great time. We go to Volusia County Beaches a lot, we will be back to this hotel again. Great view, less cars on the beach and great location overall.

Love that it was on the beach!!! Like if it’s your backyard! Shelly was so sweet checking me in and help a lot!! I would say the only flaw was the bed. It can be softer. But overall was the best place I stayed
