The hotel has a nice pool, but a couple more umbrella's would be appreciated. Easy access to the beach. No chairs on the beach but you can rent and it is pricey. You can also park in the garage under the building. Just down the road is the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Carnival setting with games and rides. Shops and plenty of places to dine. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. We enjoy staying at the Max so we will be returning

Family of 6 experience

Hi, we stayed 3 nights, and this was our experience. The view is very pretty specially with that amazing huge balcony. The three TV's are amazing, and two bathrooms makes changing clothes for a family of 6 a breeze. Now when it comes to the kitchen technology. The microwave in top of the oven did not work instead there was a cheap white microwave on the counter which was half broken, since the turning plate wheels where out of wack. The stove was super annoying to operate and would turn off frequently meanwhile cooking. We asked for clean towels and we were told if we wanted clean towels we needed to wash them ourselves in the laundry room provided. There was no exchanging clean for dirty. Which made a supposedly relaxing trip, a trip in which chores still have to be kept up with. Personally I think this would had been nice to know upfront. You come to a hotel to disconnect and relax. The max resort is very nice but is starting to show its age. The dryer also took forever to dry, specially since we needed 6 towels twice a day, for pool/beach and shower. The concierge at the front was dismissive and when asked for additional towels since our family was at the pool, with that said the overall experience was good. We had a blast in the game room. But it feels more like a Air bnb than a hotel, at a really expensive rate.

We had a total of 7 in our party which included 4 adults and 3 children, all family. The resort had fun activities for each generation; my husband and I, our adult children and grandchildren. We all marveled over the spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen area. The designated spaces for dining-in together along with the resort amenities made it extra special and convenient. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and swimming pool. 10 out of 10 😊 We will definitely recommend this resort property to our friends and other relatives.

The property is absolutely amazing. The spacious room met every need for our stay. We had all the accommodations of home. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Linda, Lydia, DJ, Damien, Shelby of the front desk were outstanding host. All of the restaurant staff was great. The service and the food was excellent. The young Jamaican man was most helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back in the future.

It looks like what you see in the pictures. It is very spacious and comfortable. The appliances are very modern and there is good mix of the right utensils you may need. The balcony is accessible from both the bedroom and living room and it is really as large as it looks in the pictures. There is a constant breeze that feels really good when you’re out on the balcony. Would definitely recommend to others and will stay there again when visiting.

Cleaning only comes every 5 days, we stayed 6 and never saw them. Nothing clean up with. First impression at the front desk was horrible. The girl didn’t explain any of the charges, deposit or parking for every day. Where else would we park? Lol. Changed rooms when we first arrived due to a terrible smell, room was not upgraded but was still charged $100 for room upgrade? No one answers the phone. No one to discuss all of these charges with. No room in the pool. Everyone on top of each other. There isn’t any staff to be seen but the bar staff. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and our wedding anniversary and everyone just wanted to go home. Very unfortunate.
