We found cockroaches and bedbugs in our room, something terrible I'd never seen before. I'm still waiting for a call from the manager, Rick, who never contacted me. I'm having problems because they said they would compensate me by returning my money, but they haven't. Please don't stay here; I don't recommend it. Rick, give me a call and stop hiding behind Kyle, who has been kindly helping me. Don't take advantage of people who are looking to have a good time in Daytona.

The price is amazing and its a great location. Our room was very clean upon arrival. Beautiful sunrises and views of the beach. The on site laundry worked well and was a nice amenity at a reasonable price. Our check in was after 4pm due to rooms not being clean yet. So im guessing staffing is short? Its an older property and weve stayed here before but outside around the pool area needs a little more upkeep. They still haven’t repaired their steps to the beach and its taped off and has an upside down trash can blocking it. It just looks very tacky and unclean. Also there was no screen door on our beach front porch. 3 of the 6 days only one elevator was working and almost everyday we had issues with our room keys working properly. And lastly the bed was horrible. It was hard as a rock. We almost went and purchased a mattress topper to survive. We stayed in room 503, 5th floor.

The stairs to the beach were removed and it was a little strange and uncomfortable that the house keeper stopped us the day before we left to make sure we leave her a tip before we leave. And she hadn’t even changed the garbage or brought new towels to the room.

Construction so loud and blocked views, pool dirty, and we seen a body bag being brought out from the property next to us on the first day there so that was scary. No hand soap or pool towels provided. Would not stay here again.

Older hotel that is kept up really well. It is not top tier, but definitely great value for the money and a great beach hotel. I will stay again on a future trip.

They never cleaned it. There was sand everywhere, mildew on the ceiling from where the fan didn’t work in the bathroom, etc. The staff however, were very friendly.

This was our 3rd time staying here and we came back here because of the amazing first 2 times we were here. They went above and beyond just 3 years ago when we stayed. I would like to start this review by saying the downstairs lobby area/elevator area/back door area/ and the indoor pool area are so overwhelmingly hot and humid and they just have loud and obnoxious fans going. I attached a picture showing the lobby at 92 degrees at 9 in the morning. We sat in the lobby for an hour to be checked in, the woman in front of us had alot of issues and the second person behind the counter kept taking other people before us. Once we finally checked in and paid the $8 a day "resort fee" we made our way up to our room. The door is messed up to our room and we had to try to get in 2-3 times every single time we used our door for the week. The keys also deactivated multiple times over the week. They told us the keys would be deactivated if next to a phone or any electronic device... but if we have our bags and purses with our phones and stuff because we're on vacation... its hard to keep the card separated. You're also the only hotel I've ever seen have key cards like this. We got locked out of the room several times throughout the week. Our ac unit did not work 100%, it was on the lowest setting all week but still only ever stayed around 72. Which is way better than outside, just stating it didn't work as it should and we could see the outside world between the cracks of the air unit and

We have stayed here a few times, but this was definitely the last. They DO NOT sweep OR mop the floors. They DO NOT check the silverware drawer to ensure the utensils Are clean, we had hair in the drawer. All but maybe two of the pool chairs are broken, this is an easy fix if only the maintenance man would bother doing it instead of just lining them all up every morning. We were there for 7 days this time and the pool was cleaned once. They didn’t bother mentioning that beach access was gone from the pool area.

I love we were directly on the beach and the sunrises were beautiful. I disliked there was no more direct access you have to walk around down the round next to the hotel to get to the beach. They have the access closed off they said they having been waiting on a permit to rebuild the stairs down.
