Helpful host, clean house, peaceful location!

We didn't want to leave. That about says it all. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. There are lots of windows to let in the light and the breeze. The bedroom is large with several places to put your suitcases, and there are hooks on the back of the door. The bed is very comfy. The two livings areas have plenty of supportive seating and lots of pillows. The kitchen is on the smaller size with not much counter space but is very well-stocked for cooking. The bathroom is good-sized and the shower is awesome. Good hot water and pressure. But the decks! As you can see from the photo, the back deck is right on the water. The host has provided lawn chairs to bring out. We spent all day on the back deck. When it was too windy (one day) we moved to the front deck which blocked some of the wind. The cottage is fairly isolated (nice neighbors, though), but it's an easy drive to several nice restaurants. Check out Sisters with a Twist in Princess Anne for great breakfast sandwiches. Pick up a couple of hoagies there and take a picnic to Bordeleau Winery in Eden. Wonderful wine! Debbie is a super host. Any question is answered immediately, and the binder she provides has lots of info on the cottage and the area. I'd give a rating of 12 out of 10 if I could.

Very cozy home with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

We loved Promise Point! The house was lovely, very well equipped and supplied with basics and then some. I loved the thoughtful, "Oops I forgot it basket" in the linen closet. The property was beyond gorgeous. We sailed our small catamaran that Frank allowed us to keep tied up on the bulkhead, paddled in the marsh, and caught and ate crabs. We highly recommend Sweet Water in Princess Anne for a nice dinner out. Frank and his wife were very gracious hosts.

We had an amazing time and experience! The host was very responsive and helpful! The house was clean and very roomy! It had everything that was needed, from fresh shower and beach towels to all the things needed in the kitchen! The short walk to the private beach was a major plus! My dog enjoyed being able to run and play!

The home was beautiful, the owner was lovely, and the views were spectacular. If you like spending your days on the dock and your nights surrounded by a gorgeous colorful home this is the place for you!
