Staff was very helpful when we needed some assistance with minor issues. The food at the on site venue was very good and the servers friendly. A great place to stay with easy access into the heart of death valley.

Room was ok. But they put a teenager in a room with no Wi-Fi and an exhausted mom. Please dont advertise the rooms have Wi-Fi and stick a teenager in it.

Room with King bed was good. Clean, but room is showing its age. The village had the park service working on the plumbing so you couldn’t drink the water while we were there. They did a great job providing bottled water for guests. Everyone was friendly that we encountered.

It was very late when we checked in and dark. We did not see a sign posted on door due to darkness . The Check in clerk did not inform us that there was a problem with the water supply and it was unsafe to drink or brush your teeth with water from the sink in the hotel rooms. Only when we checked out , saw the posting and asked the clerk about this that we learned of this. My daugher has been quite ill with intestinal distress for the past 2 days. We don't know if its because of this, We were told by front desk that we "should be ok".

Room was clean, simple, and functional. But it was not particularly quiet, and we heard car doors slam all night. That was aggravated by people sleeping in their truck outside our room. I didn't realize your parking lot was a campsite, but you had people using it that way.

The location was perfect for quick access to the Sand Dunes. Great to run out for Star gazing and sunrise. The restaurant wasn’t fancy but the food and service was great. I suggest eating in the bar next door. Same menu. Fun bar Rooms were sufficient and priced right. General store and gas across the street. The staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

Honestly what stood out was how the staff handled the flooding and then the electricity outage. They managed things well with the generator and had positive, helpful attitudes. They gave great service at the restaurant and great directions and suggestions at the front desk. Everything was handled really smoothly.

This is a good place to spend a nite or two. It's not fancy. The food in the restaurant and the Saloon was very good. Our room was clean. The bed and pillows comfy. It was quiet. The General Store has a nice selection of hats and tshirts. We drove down to the Sand Dunes to view the night sky. The sky is better after 11pm. But we saw great stars around 8pm in January. The staff at the hotel, restaurant, saloon, store were very nice and eager to please.

There are no coffee makers in the rooms. Free coffee can only be obtained prior to 7:00 am, otherwise you have to go to the general store and buy coffee. No microwave either. Otherwise, ok.
