Good choice for our 2-day stay in Denver

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Denver. It is nicely kept up and decorated, and the hot breakfast has some good variety. We arrived at 2:30am and were greeted pleasantly by the night clerk. When we checked out 2 days later, the day clerk was just as pleasant. The price was very good for the quality of the hotel.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Bed was comfy, and it had large pilows. The breakfast was great!! They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, tater tots, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, cereal and yogurt. Front desk gal was very friendly. Will stay again next time I go to Denver.

Too Much Airplane Noise

This hotel is in the flight path of a local airport. So if you don't mind airplane noise, this is an otherwise decent hotel. However, for some reason, the hotel couldn't provide enough face towels. There was also a big problem with doors on the same hallway (of adjacent rooms and further down) slamming shut; the slamming noise was so loud that your entire room would shake; if you were lying in bed, it felt like you were in a 6.8 magnitude earthquake. They need to put some sort of mechanism on the doors to prevent this. Despite these setbacks, it's an otherwise sufficient hotel. Of course, the property can't control the airplane noise. Still, because of the flight path airplane noise, we would not stay at this hotel again.

The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay! There were some small things like the men's bathroom in the lobby was a bit out of sorts but overall it was a great experience! Not sure if we were here in off season but it's kind of a "ghost town" around the place as far as traffic goes...but there are nice restaurants and stuff <5 minutes away. The included breakfast was legit! I didn't go overboard on pre-planning, but as far as I could tell, this place was pretty much equidistant between Red Rocks and the airport, so very convenient in that way! We'll be back!!
